GenCare Lifestyle at Eagle Ridge, a Premier Senior Living Independent & Assisted Living Community overlooking Renton, is currently seeking to add a Marketing Director II to our amazing team. Candidates with less than two years proven Marketing experience in Senior Living will not be considered for this position.

The Marketing Director II position offers the potential for an additional $20-25K through our lucrative commission structure on top of base pay of $75-85,000.00 DOE.

The Marketing Director II co-manages the marketing and sales program within the community which includes meeting with prospective residents and their families, providing tours and working alongside families to ensure a safe and successful welcome to our community. The Marketing Director II is also responsible for creating and maintaining a strong connection with the greater Renton community; building strong referral relationships with skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, medical clinics, local businesses, referral agents, and spiritual organizations among others. Ultimate performance measures for this position will be based on meeting occupancy and census goals established in the annual budget.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is sales and service-oriented in nature with 100% of time allocated to direct sales. The Marketing Director II respectfully interacts with colleagues, residents, prospective residents, family members of prospective residents, and the general public. The Marketing Director II maintains a positive customer service relationship practicing honesty and integrity in all aspects of job performance. In performance of duties, the Marketing Director II is entrusted with but not limited to the following responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Self-starter, proven track record of success in closing sales
• Respond and follow-up with to all walk-ins, phone ins, mail-ins timely and appropriately.
• Must possess excellent leadership and communication skills, be creative, fun loving and have a caring disposition towards the elderly
• Build community census to achieve monthly goals and to ultimately achieve 100% occupancy
• Responsible for always representing the GenCare Core Values and Mission and influencing community team members in positive ways
• Nurture and maintain lead tracking system/CRM and keep accurate tracking records on all leads and prospects to be used in weekly sales and marketing reports.
• Maintains a CRM database in Lead Tracking (Sherpa or Yardi), Nurtures relationships with new and existing prospects to provide a continuation of referrals and to sell the services provided by, including but not limited to Independent Living, Assisted Living Senior living. Treat each inquiry with value.
• Proficiency in computer skills, typing and ability to learn new applications: minimum skills include Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel), CRM and email marketing programs
• Schedule, organize, and conduct tours with prospective residents
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Spearhead social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and post approved photos of events and other marketing messaging at twice weekly on each channel. Track record of building, managing, and executing social media campaigns that grow followers and engagement, drive conversion and improve website traffic.
• In depth knowledge of senior adults and their needs
• A sincere desire to be of service to senior adult residents and their families
• Courtesy and tact when dealing with potential residents and their family members and colleagues
• Create and implement strategic bi-annual quarterly marketing action plans.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Credibility, maturity and enthusiasm
• Ability to identify clients’ needs
• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years marketing experience required with Senior Independent and Assisted Living experience a must!
